Head out in the evening for a Desert Safari Dinner. Camel riding, sand boarding and 4WD dune
bashing, which was fun, but hairy at times.
The desert is just beautiful, hot, but beautiful. Was surprised at how fine and 'soft' the sand
was. Followed Willem up a sand due and
wandered away from the camp a little. You quickly realize how vast the desert
is there. Willem was a bit nervous about
riding the camels but we did it anyway.
Then head off for the 4WD. Got some great sunset photos with the boys,
and they made friends with a German girl named 'Hannah' (apparently). Came back to camp after sunset for dinner and
traditional dancing which the boys enjoyed. Kendall and Bel were brave enough
to get up to try some belly dancing.
Brad and I snuck up to the shisha to try that before we left. Straight to bed after that and then up early
to get tot the airport.
Arrived a little late in Paris and took an age to get
through CDG, slowest airport ever :(. Currently tapping this post out on my
phone en-route to Bayeux. French countryside is gorgeous. Will have to update
again later with more photos.
Lovely photos, what an amazing adventure. An amazing opportunity that you are giving the kids to learn about the world!
